A short story on how aging makes one consider anti aging and the products to combat aging.
Welcome to the celebration of 40 years of bliss using anti cream wrinkle products and supplements following graduation from high school. I personally thought the bliss started four years before graduation, but that’s just me. What a magnificent four years in our high school growing up and getting to know all of you!
We may not think of it often, but growing up and schooling in our rural area may have been the best-of-the-best. After living in a few different states, visiting many and meeting people from all, I have yet to find a tale as sweet as ours. We are living the dream that few can envision and fewer still have experienced. Granted, some of that has been driven by judicial use of anti cream wrinkle products. Can you imagine folks from a large city school maintaining the rapport we enjoy among ourselves this long after graduation? Trust me, it’s rare.
Yes, there has been change. I don’t know if you are like me, but some days I feel approximately how I imagine a walleye might feel with a wooden boat deck under one flank and the cruel sun beating mercilessly down on the other, gills gasping in a medium not meant to survive exposure to. Some of the medicines we take daily taste like powdered pork nose hairs flavored with uranium mill tailings. We all have aches and pains and some of those hurt the way your tongue hurts after you accidentally staple it to the wall. (Just joking – I’m sure that we are all still leaping tall buildings in a single bound.)
I just browsed through our senior yearbook. Wow, that was One Good Looking Class. Better news still is that instead of just being cute as we were back then, we are now gracefully beautiful and handsome in distinguished ways. Do you think that has been driven by our judicious use of anti aging supplements or anti cream wrinkle products? I think so. Pay no attention to those that say, “You had a mind like a steel trap, only it got left out so long, it rusted shut.” Rubbish! And for years now, some of our elite OHS class have been living the American Dream – chasing grandkids around with power tools.
Changes? You bet! Instead of working up a lather as we did in typewriter class, pounding manual keys, and building right arm muscles pulling the “Return” bar, now we hit a couple buttons, speak into the speech recognition feature of our smart phones, touch “Send” and the flawless “letter” is sent without delay, using no dictionary, whiteout, envelope or stamp. The two-row corn pickers we cut our teeth on have been replaced with who knows what engineering and electronic marvels. We had no anti cream wrinkle help and now we have abundance. We used to glamorize ’65 Mustangs, hopped up ‘70 Novas, and ’56 Chevs. Now we glamorize ’65 Mustangs, hopped-up ’70 Novas, and ’56 Chevs. Go figure.
I think the biggest change over the last 40 years has been in our mindset. In 1971 most of us scoffed when seeing things like Dick Tracy’s wrist TV communicator or other such nonsense. We saw things that simply couldn’t be achieved. We now have been immersed in sensational changes and innovations for four decades, including the advancements in anti-aging serums and anti cream wrinkle products and information. I think our mindset now is that virtually anything is achievable. Now we dream BIG! If a news report came out saying that something like anti-gravity was perfected, our response would probably be, “What took so long?” Now that is Change. Happy Dreaming!
